About Us

The Faculty of Agriculture at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam Campus, is dedicated to providing high-quality education that fosters intellectual growth, creativity, and cultural awareness. With a rich history and a commitment to academic excellence, the Faculty of Agriculture plays a pivotal role in shaping socially responsible citizens.

Originally part of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Agriculture became an autonomous unit upon the university's establishment. The Faculty has grown to include diverse departments offering a wide range of programs.

All programs have received full accreditation from the National Universities Commission (NUC). The Faculty is known for dedicated faculty who mentor and guide students in their academic pursuits.
